Bench is President of The DBC Group, a financial consultancy and
advisory company serving primarily the technology and telecom markets.
The company provides in depth qualitative and quantitative analysis
of private and publicly traded companies as well as acting in an
advisory role to many of these businesses. Additionally, The DBC
Group acts as a liaison for investment purposes between Investment
Banks, Venture Capital firms, and the corporations it may represent.
Since its incorporation, The Company is involved in projects that
are estimated to yield in excess of $100 million in financing.
Mr. Bench was previously a Vice President of Institutional Equity
Research at Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder in New York. His coverage
included the U.S. telecom and technology sectors, with a focus on
the former Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs), security software
and infrastructure, and streaming media solutions. Prior to joining
the firm, Mr. Bench was a Statistical Analyst in the Investment
Banking division of Lazard Fréres L.L.C., where he concentrated
on mergers & acquisitions within the telecom and media industries.
Bench is a Brandeis University graduate with a specific focus on
Asian Economies. He received a Master's degree in International
Finance from the Brandeis University Graduate School of International
Economics and Finance and was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon,
the International Economics Honors Society. He is Series 7 and 63
certified and has a broker-dealer relationship with Sloan Securities
